INTRO TO HANDGUN

Intro to Handgun is a 4 hour beginners course designed to familiarize the student with their handgun. This course will cover basic safe weapons handling, nomenclature, disassembly/assembly, cleaning, and introduce students to the critical skills needed to safely operate a handgun. This course is great for responsible new gun owners who wish to familiarize themselves with their firearm to be a safe gun owner. Class size is generally 6 people depending on availability of instructors so we can run a safe range.

INDIVIDUAL EQUIPMENT LIST

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Semi-auto handgun w/ 3 magazines
Gun case or range bag to carry firearm in
Red Dot Optic (if applicable, not required)
Owners manual for firearm or red dot optics you are bringing to class
Eye and ear protection
100 rounds of ammunition
Handgun lubrication and cleaning kit
Comfortable clothing for range activities
Water, snack or any other beverages
Note taking material
Individual first aid kit (if you have one, not required)

COURSE PREREQUISITES

U.S. Citizen and able to legally carry/possess a firearm
Good attitude and open mind
Fill out waiver
